How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Friends:
Most Cyber Security professionals have been hacking for years, and that Cyber Security skills are not easily learned.
How I responded:
Honestly, if someone has 'been hacking for years', how are they earning a security clearance. I believe that students who are new to the field, but do not have much practical experience, are in a great position. The coursework that is being presented by professionals who are well-education and experienced. Every time I hear 'noise', I like to fact-check and do my own research. Factually, Cyber Security is in-demand and is not an exclusive club of teenage brainiacs!
