Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
You should pursue your master's. However, I am not yet emotionally ready and hungry to pursue this goal. This has to deal with the fact of not knowing which field course for a master's degree I have interest in. My faith in God will guide me through this.
How I responded:
Find out for yourself what it is that gives your life meaning. Everything will fall into place with a positive attitude in your prospects. It takes time to get from point A to point B, but the passion and spirit inside will help you through your journey if you have faith in your works and talents. Avoid being just content and comfortable if it doesn't give you any fulfillment, also don't ever be idle in your relationship - your career, family, spiritual, etc. Continue to build and grow! Namaste.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Being stronger in your writing is possible. Take workshop courses or visit a writing center at your campus, when there is confidence in your writing you will find it less challenging.
First girl in my family puts pressure since my parents expect a lot. However, that expectation is their encouragement to thrive in your professional field.
Chronic headaches set me back in school as I relied on medication to treat myself. If you have a physical illness, speak up about it and get help. You can't face battles on your own and support is key in overcoming hardships in your life.
